Accessibility

Please note that regular guided tours of the Zollverein Monument Path are only suitable to a limited extent for people with impaired mobility. Unfortunately, participation with a walking aid or wheelchair is not possible. Please contact us by e-mail at besucherdienst@zollverein.de or by phone on 0201 246810 so that we can find a solution together.

Reduced-price tickets

Reduced-price tickets are only valid with proof of eligibility, which must be presented when validating the online ticket (mobile phone ticket or print-at-home) at the ticket counter at the Ruhr.Visitorcenter in the Coal Washery or at the ticket point on Werner-Müller-Platz, Hall 8 or at the Info Point in the coking plant.

The following groups of visitors are entitled to a discount: Young people up to the age of 17; pupils and students up to the age of 24; holders of the ‘Essen.dabei sein’ card; recipients of ALG I & II, social welfare, as well as benefits according to the USG with proof; participants in the FSJ, FÖJ, and BFD programmes with proof; people with disabilities from 70% degree of disability with official ID (with designation ‘B’ in the official ID: one accompanying person is granted free admission; please note that the Zollverein Monument Path is not barrier-free throughout).

Validity

Either mobile phone tickets or printed tickets are valid for participation in guided tours, as these are scanned and thus validated. Each ticket is only accepted once.

Clothing

We strongly recommend that you wear sturdy shoes and hard-wearing clothing suitable for the weather when taking part in a guided tour of the Zollverein Monument Path.

Returns

Please note that online tickets cannot be returned after purchase. The purchase of tickets of this type does not constitute a distance contract in accordance with § 312b BGB. See also the General Terms and Conditions.

Exchange

It is not possible to change your ticket.
